We are committed to respecting your privacy. This policy explains how we use personal information we collect about any individual who has any interaction with Six Prog Limited (6prog), how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 and what your rights are.

 

This notice applies to you if you have registered interest in 6prog.com by inputting your details on our website or at an event organised by 6prog. It also applies to any client with whom we have a business relationship (e.g. partnership agreements or published discounts), and to suppliers of goods and services to us.

 

References to we, our, us or 6prog in this privacy notice are to Six Prog Limited 10460382 registered in the UK.

 

We have appointed a Data Controller to oversee our compliance with data protection laws as required to do so by the regulations.   Contact details are set out in the "Contacting us" section at the end of this privacy notice. Our data processing activities do not require a Data Protection Officer to be appointed.

 

1.          PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

When you join 6prog you will be asked to provide personal information about yourself regarding your:

·       personal contact details that allows us to contact you directly such as name, email addresses, business name and address, and telephone number(s)

            We will also collect information input by you about your business such as:

·       records of your company services

·       images (your business logo)

·       for clients: your  invoicing information and point of contact

·       for suppliers: your payment details and point of contact

·       your IP address

2.          WHERE WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

Explicitly – we will inform you in writing or verbally that we are collecting data and why:

We collect personal information about our members when you join us through www.6prog.com and when existing 6prog members invite you to join.

 

Behind the scenes – we collect data without explicit consent:

Cookies: during the processing of on-line forms, cookies will be used. All such cookies will only be retained for the life of the session on the same browser on the same computer equipment. They automatically expire after 20 minutes. Users may disable cookies in their browser settings, but it may be impossible to use the forms. No other cookies are used elsewhere on the website

Webserver Logs: will automatically note which website pages are visited by browser and IP connection, the time and date, and which webpage or search query referenced the viewed page. No individual information beyond the IP address is contained in these logs, and no analysis or processing is performed on them. They may be consulted by the webmaster for improving the performance or solving reported problems of the website. It is not possible to use the website without any logs being collected, although you can use various proxy techniques to hide your IP address.

 

Third Parties: 6prog holds no personal data obtained from any third parties, or otherwise indirectly.

4.          DIRECT MARKETING

Email, post and SMS marketing: from time to time, we may contact you by email, post or SMS with information about events and activities we believe may be of interest to you.

You can also unsubscribe from our communications by clicking on the link in the messages we send to you.


 

 

5.          DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share personal information with the following parties:

·       The Government or our regulators: where we are required to do so by law or to assist with their investigations or initiatives.

Some of your information may be publicly available:

·       Your 6prog public profile. The personal information is limited to your business name and notes you have made in your profile.

·       Blog posts you have created to promote your business

 

Within 6prog, information is only available to the members of staff required to run the 6prog platform and they have access to all data.

We do not disclose personal information to anyone else except as set out above.

6prog has various accounts on social media.  6prog does not pass any personal details onto social media unless agreed with you.

 

 


 

6.          HOW LONG DO WE KEEP PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR?

The duration for which we retain your personal information will differ depending on the type of information and the reason why we collected it from you. However, in some cases personal information may be retained on a long-term basis: for example, personal information that we need to retain for legal purposes will normally be retained in accordance with usual commercial practice and regulatory requirements.  Where there is no legal requirement we retain all physical and electronic records for a period of four [4] years after your last contact with us.

It is important to ensure that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and up-to-date, and you should let us know if anything changes, for example if you change your phone number or email address.

You are able to update some or all of the information we hold about you through the portal. Alternatively, you can contact us by using the details set out in the "Contacting us" section below.

 

7.          HOW DO WE SECURE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Appropriate technical and administrative measures are used to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of any 6prog data. 

All databases are encrypted and protected. 

All pages of the website are protected by using the HTTPS protocol. 


No personal data is stored outside of the European Economic Area, however all data displayed on the website can be seen anywhere.

We will make every effort to maintain the security of data, however, in the unlikely event of a data breach by unauthorised individuals or groups we will report it to the person concerned at the earliest opportunity.

 

8.          YOUR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO PERSONAL INFORMATION

You have the following rights in relation to your personal information:

·       the right to be informed about how your personal information is being used;

·       the right to access the personal information we hold about you;

·       the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you;

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. When we change this notice in a material way, we will update the version date at the bottom of this page. For significant changes to this notice we will try to give you reasonable notice unless we are prevented from doing so.
